Bierlein's motto “Safety, Quality, Dependability” was established in 1976 and has been the guiding principle ever since.
Bierlein has more than 300 employees nationwide. The average employee has been with the company more than 15 years.
In 2008, Bierlein provided employees with more than 1,200,000 in personnel protective equipment.
Bierlein employees have received more than 17,000 man hours in safety training.
Bierlein Companies are fully committed to recycling materials from their project sites.
At this point in time, the majority of recycling comes from concrete, metals and asphalt. Concrete is recycled by crushing equipment that makes the waste material into uniform sized aggregates for reuse as road base or any other application that would use natural stone aggregates. Metals are transported to a recycling facility that pays for the material depending on grade and size. Asphalt is transported back to local asphalt plants for reuse.
Future plans for the recycling of wood are being studied for feasibility and cost effectiveness.
Every pound of recycled material is a cost saving to the customer.
