Recyclables Include

  • Metal
  • Concrete
  • Asphalt
  • Wood

Bierlein Companies are fully committed to recycling materials from their project sites.

At this point in time, the majority of recycling comes from concrete, metals and asphalt. Concrete is recycled by crushing equipment that makes the waste material into uniform sized aggregates for reuse as road base or any other application that would use natural stone aggregates. Metals are transported to a recycling facility that pays for the material depending on grade and size. Asphalt is transported back to local asphalt plants for reuse.

Future plans for the recycling of wood are being studied for feasibility and cost effectiveness.

Every pound of recycled material is a cost saving to the customer.
