At Bierlein Companies, Safe Performance Pays!
Bierlein encourages safe work practices through teamwork, communication, and cooperation. The team, therefore, all individuals on the team, are rewarded when we reach our corporate safety goals. Meeting these goals means we are successful in looking out for ourselves and our co-workers.
This program counts OSHA recordable injuries/illnesses only. Quarterly cash awards will be paid to all eligible field employees.

The Intervention Process:
Bierlein encourages and promotes safety awareness by emphasizing worker participation in team safety awareness through direct intervention, communication of near-miss incidents to prevent future occurrence and communication of safety improvement suggestions. Each worker is encouraged to write a description of one or more of the following:

1. Situations where the worker was able to intervene and possibly stop an injury or an unsafe act from occurring
2. Near misses (Bierlein or subcontractor)
3. Suggestions to improve the Bierlein Safety Program

Once each month a drawing will be held for awards (hats, jackets, cups, flashlights, etc.). All cards will be entered into the Grand Prize drawing at our Annual Safety Day.
