Since 1979, The Engineering News Record started ranking the top ten demolition companies in the United States. Bierlein is the only contractor that has been ranked on that list every year since 1979.

Bierlein is a founding member of the National Demolition Association, which was established in 1971.

Ray Passeno, a Bierlein Vice President, is the current President of the National Demolition Association.

The only state Bierlein has not (yet) worked in is Hawaii. Bierlein has completed projects in both Canada and Mexico.
